The Metro 1 Green Building Resource Center is proud to feature for Earth Week, Ecoloblue’s atmospheric water generator. These amazing machines produce water from the humidity in the air. If you’ve never seen one in action come by our office and sample the best tasting cup of water you will ever have.

Dear Metro 1 and Metro 1 GBRC Friends,
Acting as the ultimateEarth Day event in South Florida, ECOMB will celebrate our community’s best environmental leaders and friends, honor visionaries in the “green” category and top contributors to ensuring sustainability, and welcome local environmental organizations to join us on one night for
one cause.
ECOMB’s GreenRaiser will bring together a variety of people, products, and practices of sustainability
to life: an exciting evening of live Brazilian lounge music, eco fashion, art, eco-friendly cocktails and more. This event aims to create awareness for Miami and Miami Beach’s environmental issues and
serve as ECOMB’s main fundraiser. It will enable ECOMB to continue implementing initiatives to protect and preserve our local community’s ecosystem as well as initiate efforts towards the restoration of the new environmental education center: the Miami Beach Center for the Environment.

To Dream in Green friends and colleagues,
You are cordially invited to join us for our 5th anniversary fundraiser, Living
the Dream, which will be held on Friday, April 1st, 8 pm, at the beautiful Palms Hotel & Spa, on Miami Beach. The event is part of the extraordinary Sustainatopia 2011 Conference & Festival and is not to be missed! The eco-fabulous Palms
Hotel has generously donated 3-hours of complimentary delectables and cocktails. Our evening hosts are Miami Beach Commissioner Michael Gongora and Emmy-winning weathercaster, Trent Monge. We will be honoring our 2011 Green Innovators and community leaders – The Heat Group, Miami-Dade County’s Office of Sustainability, DecoBike and Assurant. Roger Bustamante (of Miami Symphony) will set the mood with his bossa nova trio while you bid on our over-the-top silent auction items. This year, we’re starting the bidding early through our pre-event, online auction, at www.dreamingreen.org.
All proceeds from this event will be used to expand our Green Schools
Challenge program in South Florida. The Green Schools Challenge is currently in over 100 schools (K-12) and fosters green citizenship in upcoming generations by promoting energy and water conservation, waste reduction and sustainable community principles.
We sincerely hope you will join us on April 1st for what is sure to be a very
special and memorable evening.
Warmest regards,
Gabriole Van Bryce,
